Conditions of Business

Booking Procedure

Places are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Whilst we make every effort to find extra places for latecomers, we would ask you to book early, if possible, to secure your place.

Cancellation

In the event of a cancellation by yourself the booking fee is forfeited.

The Tour Operators

Please note that all holidays are arranged through Wintersports companies, and the “conditions of business” of these companies will apply. In particular, please note that a late cancellation within ten weeks of departure incurs charges in addition to loss of booking fee, rising to 100% of total holiday costs. If this results in under- occupancy of accommodation, charges may be incurred. (viz only one person now occupying a twin-bedded room, with the remaining bed left empty as no substitute skier was available at the last minute). Tour Operators reserve the right to alter prices due to conditions out with their control such as a rise in V.A.T. or fuel costs. Full details available on request.

Booking Fee

A Non-Returnable Booking Fee of £200 MUST accompany your reservation. (per person, per place) and notify us at the time of booking if you require transport of your skis on the flight.

Single Rooms

The supply of single rooms is always limited and available only on request. Sometimes single-occupancy of a twin room can be arranged, for a supplement. This is always the way with Chalet and party holidays so we would kindly ask you to be prepared to share with other members of your Snow-Cats party.

Payment of Account

Full settlement of your account is due on or before 1st October. This is our final deadline, and the right is reserved to cancel any place, with subsequent loss of booking fee, where the account remains unsettled after this date.

Insurance

The Snowcats does not provide any form of travel insurance so we ask that party members arrange their own Travel / Ski Insurance.

Ski Groups

Coming on a Snowcats week means you accept that you must take full responsibility for your own safety whether you are in an assigned group or skiing alone. The Snowcats leaders are not paid professionals and as such can accept no liability.
