Banff - March 2024

March 7th to 17th, 2024

The Snow-Cats make an exciting return to Canada, having last skied in Whistler 20 years ago!

THE AREA

Boasting 4,200 acres of diverse and stunning terrain over four mountain faces with some 164 runs and an array of back bowls, Banff / Lake Louise is one of the largest areas in North America, guaranteeing an incredible skiing experience. One of the most beautiful areas in the world, surrounded by epic views of the Banff National Parks peaks, forests and glaciers, as well as the beautiful frozen Lake Louise itself.

THE TOWN

Banff is a dynamic town set in the spectacular Banff National Park. Downtown Banff offers traditional Canadian hospitality with an excellent variety of over 130 bars, restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries that cater for all tastes and budgets.

Banff, Canada

The 4,200 acres area is packed with variety so is a skiers paradise. From gentle tree-lined greens and long cruisy blues on the front side, to more engaging reds through glades and some of the Canadian Rockies most thrilling, wide open bowls. From the top of the World Express chair, the view along Bow Valley is gorgeous with an unbroken chain of towering peaks scattered with hanging blue glaciers and valley floors. Simply stunning.

Our more capable skiers can explore the endless powder filled back bowls, demanding steeper pitches, challenging moguls or sample the FIS World Cup Downhill course which Lindsay Vonn famously made her own.

Lake Louise and Banff are renowned for their Backcountry skiing. Fly by helicopter with CMH Heli-Skiing to a remote luxury backcountry lodge where thousands of feet of vertical and fresh tracks await, or you can ski the majestic Puracell Range with R.K. Heli-Skiing.

Need more?! The triple area ‘SkiBig3’ lift pass covers Lake Louise and an additional 3,548 acres of terrain across two further large ski areas; Mount Norquay and Banff Sunshine Village. A regular free ski shuttle bus service operates between all three areas. Endless skiing!
